You can see messages you received during your subscription period only.
After the subscription expires, you cannot receive a new message from the artist. Even if you start subscribing again, you cannot see any messages from the period you did not subscribe.

However, you can always see the messages you received during your subscription period as long as you do not leave the Weverse service. The chat list will remain as well.
